What this website does not do
This website itself uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics services. Fonts and images are loaded from its own server, so no data goes to third parties for this. The only exception is the Holidu booking calendar, which is loaded only when you click.
Server logs
When you open the website, the hosting provider (Swizzonic AG, Badenerstrasse 47, 8004 Zürich) stores technically necessary details such as IP address, time, page requested and browser type. This data serves secure operation and is not combined with other data.
Contact by e-mail
If you write to me, I use your details solely to answer your enquiry and to handle a stay. In the case of a booking, I keep the necessary data for as long as legal obligations require, for example for settling the tourist tax.
Booking calendar and booking via Holidu
The booking calendar on the home page is an embedded module from Holidu (Holidu GmbH, Riesstrasse 24, 80992 Munich, Germany). It is only loaded when you choose “Show booking calendar” or “Check availability”. From that moment, Holidu receives technical details such as your IP address and may use cookies and third-party analytics services, currently including Microsoft Clarity.
You complete the booking on Holidu’s booking page, which opens in a new window. There, Holidu processes your data under its own responsibility. Holidu’s privacy policy, which is linked in the calendar and on the booking page, applies. To carry out your stay, I receive your booking and contact details from Holidu.
Your rights
You may request information about your data and have it corrected or deleted, provided no statutory retention obligation prevents this. An e-mail to the address above is sufficient. The supervisory authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
